WebABLLS is the online version of the internationally recognized ABLLS-R (The Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills – Revised). Developed by Dr. James Partington, Ph. D., BCBA-D, and is backed by scientific research and evidence-based practice. Validated and reliable, WebABLLS is designed for use with learners on the autism spectrum, with language delays, or other developmental disabilities. When implemented in conjunction with comprehensive programming, learners acquire the ability to learn from their everyday experiences while educators, parents, and professionals are empowered to share data and strategies that enhance collaboration across all learning environments. I have to say the online version saved me a week's worth of trying to sum the ABLLS-R up in narrative form. Now I just create an info page, print the entire ABLLS-R and a recommendation page and done. You all have saved me a ton of time. Thank you. I am speechless! WebABLLS is outstanding! Product description The revised version of the ABLLS includes many new task items that were not included in the previous edition. There are numerous changes in the descriptions and criterion for individual task items, as well as in the sequencing of many task items. The Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills- Revised (The ABLLS -R) is an assessment, curriculum guide, and skills tracking system for children with language delays. It is based on the science of Applied Behavioral Analysis with Skinner's theory of Verbal Behavior along with research by Dr. Partington and includes 25 repertoire areas covering 544 skills. The ABLLS -R Protocol and The ABLLS -R Guide are two books in a series of publications from Behavior Analysts, Inc., that can help parents and educators with the process of identifying specific skills that should be the focus of intervention for a child with language delays.
This information is then used to develop a comprehensive language-based curriculum. The original version of the ABLLS was developed by Dr. James W. Partington, Ph. D., BCBA- D and Dr. Mark L. Sundberg, Ph. D, BCBA-D. It was revised in 2006 by Dr. Partington and is currently referred to as ABLLS-R. The revised version incorporates new task items and provides a specific sequence in the developmental order of items within the various skill areas. Significant contribution was made by Denise Senick-Pirri, SLP-CCC in the vocal imitation section. Additional improvements include a way to associate items with social interaction skills, motor imitation and other joint attention skills, and to ensure fluency of acquired skills. While ABLLS-R is most commonly used on children with autism and other developmental disabilities and delays, it can be used for anyone with delayed basic communication or life skills. The ABLLS-R assessment is conducted through observing a child's behavior in each of the 25 skill areas.

This is done by the instructor providing a stimulus to the child to assess skills based upon what a child does and does not do (assessment of behavior). Input from parents and other instructors are also taken into consideration. The ABLLS-R is broken out into two separate books that work in conjunction with each other to accurately assess the child's skills. The ABLLS-R Protocol is used to assess a child's performance. The ABLLS-R Guide provides information about the features of the ABLLS-R, how to correctly score items, and how to develop Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals.
